This Limited Product Warranty applies exclusively to new furniture products acquired from an authorized Costaelm retailer. Costaelm (referred to as "the Manufacturer") guarantees its furniture is built to rigorous quality specifications and will remain free from confirmed defects in materials and craftsmanship when properly used in residential settings during the warranty terms specified herein.

This warranty extends exclusively to the original purchaser ("Buyer") and may not be transferred to subsequent owners.

Warranty Coverage & Available Remedies

Should a product defect be identified and reported during the valid warranty timeframe and verified by an authorized Manufacturer representative as a genuine manufacturing flaw, Costaelm's responsibility shall be limited to, at the Manufacturer's sole discretion, any of the following solutions:

• Providing replacement components
• Performing product repairs
• Replacing the defective item entirely
• Issuing a refund for the original amount paid for the faulty part

Note: Transportation, freight, and labor expenses are not covered under this warranty.

Category-Specific Warranty Details

HDPE Components

Protected against structural breakdown for the specified warranty duration. Minor color fading, thermal expansion or contraction, and surface marks resulting from normal outdoor conditions are not classified as defects.

Polypropylene Components

Protected against defects in materials and production quality. Deterioration from routine use, color fading, chemical contact, improper handling, or inadequate maintenance is not covered. Slight variations in texture or color are inherent material characteristics and do not constitute defects.

Hardware

Protected exclusively against structural breakdown. Surface oxidation or corrosion—particularly in coastal environments or areas with elevated salt content—is excluded if appropriate maintenance procedures have not been followed.

Metal Frames

Protected against structural breakdown. Oxidation, corrosion, finish deterioration, color fading, and surface impairments are not covered.

Cushions & Fabrics

Protected for defects in materials and production quality for the designated period. Mildew growth, color fading, staining, or deterioration caused by inadequate care or environmental factors are excluded.

Firepit Inserts

Protected for the designated warranty duration. A glass wind guard must be utilized during operation; failure to use this protective component invalidates warranty coverage.

Motion Mechanisms/Hardware

Protected against structural breakdown for the designated term. Operational sounds, lubrication needs, and minor variations in movement are considered normal operational characteristics and are not defects.

Umbrellas & Umbrella Bases

Protected against defects in materials and production quality for the designated term. Surface oxidation or corrosion is not covered.

Umbrella Fabrics

Protected for defects in materials and production quality for the designated term. Color fading, mildew growth, staining, or deterioration due to environmental conditions are excluded.

Warranty Limitations

This warranty excludes:

• Non-compliance with care, maintenance, or assembly guidelines
• Damage arising from improper use, mishandling, accidents, intentional damage, fire, or severe weather conditions
• Shipping damage or incorrect installation
• Normal weathering effects, including color fading, chalking, or discoloration
• Oxidation or corrosion affecting steel or stainless-steel hardware
• Color or pattern discrepancies between replacement and original components
• Merchandise sold in "as-is" condition, display models, or closeout inventory
• Utilization of non-Costaelm accessories or substitute parts
• Commercial application of products designated for residential use exclusively
• Transportation costs for replacement components beyond 60 days from date of purchase

Warranty protection applies to individual components exclusively and does not encompass complete furniture collections.

Liability Limitations

Costaelm accepts no responsibility for indirect, special, or consequential losses. The Manufacturer's liability under this warranty is limited to repair, replacement, or refund of the original purchase amount.

Some jurisdictions prohibit limitations on indirect or consequential damages, therefore these restrictions may not be applicable to all Buyers. Warranty protection is valid exclusively within the United States.

Authorized digital retail platforms may extend their own warranty coverage, which takes precedence over this manufacturer warranty. Products protected under a platform-specific warranty are ineligible for coverage under the Costaelm manufacturer warranty.

Service Procedures & Warranty Claims

To begin a warranty claim process, the Buyer must reach out to the authorized dealer from whom the product was initially acquired. Claims submitted directly to Costaelm will not be processed.

Documentation Requirements Include:

• A written explanation of the reported problem
• Evidence of purchase (receipt or sales invoice)
• Product model and serial identifier (where applicable)
• Photographs clearly showing the defect

All warranty return merchandise requires a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). Products not returned via a Manufacturer-issued shipping label become the Buyer's responsibility and may incur supplementary fees.

Failure to return requested merchandise within 30 days may result in loss of warranty protection.
